As our name China Evangelical Seminary implies,”evangelical”is the spirit which we strongly uphold in our Seminary. Our aim is to raise up men and women to be soldiers of God’s Kingdom who truly experiences the essence of the Gospel. To the Chinese, the Gospel is a rather foreign concept, and our goal is to help them to understand the Gospel after hearing it so as to accept it as truths.

CES is a seminary that transcends the boundaries of denominations. It is established by faith to seek God’s will and guidance, and is supported by God-loving Chinese Christians from around the world, who labor with us in achieving our vision, through prayer and the giving of both their talents and their money. In the upcoming years, we will continue to co-operate with churches, alumni and students in a spirit of partnership.
