August 2007, CES North American Campus (CESNAC) was officially elevated to North American China Evangelical Seminary. |

October 2007, CES Library published it's first e-newsletter.. |
| |
• |
February 2008, CES’s Board of Trustees and co-workers visited the Governor of Tao-Yuan County, Chu, Li-Luan, and received his full support for the establishment of CES new campus in Bade City. Percy Deng became the Vice President of Adminstration. |

May 2008, CES signed contract with the land owner and gained the ownership of the land. The NT$ 108 millions(US$3.32M) fund was all received. |

June 2008, The first issue of “China Evangelical Seminary Journall” was published. |
| |
• |
July 2008, Dr. Samuel Chiow accepted the invitation from China Free Methodist Church to be the President of Holy Light Theological Seminary. |

August 2008, CES produced “Seed” DVD which begins with Rev. James Hudson Taylor’s missionary work in China, introducing the spread of Gospel in China and the history of CES theological education. |

October 2008, Presidents from nearly 20 Chinese speaking seminaries gathered in CES to participate in the seminar hosted by Overseas Council International. |

January 2009, In preparing for the celebration of CES’s 40th anniversary in 2010, CES’s teachers and co-workers drafted the theme - “2020 The Jubilee’s Vision of CES: CES in Taiwan, CES in the Cross-Strait, CES in the World” – to think over CES’s development in the next 10 years. |

March 2009, CES’s founding president, Rev. James Hudson Taylor III passed away, aged 80. He had established and led CES for 10 years, laid the principle of balanced education - vital spirituality, genuine scholarship and effective service of God, as well as choosing the location of CES present Main Campus on Ding-Zhou Road. |

April 2009, Dr. Takamitsu Muraoka, a well-known scholar of the Old Testament from Japan, arrival of CES to teach advanced Hebrew grammar in this semester. |

July 2009, Pastoral Center was founded. |
