Objective:

Establishing a firm foundation for further understanding of the phenomenon         

                      of prophecy in ancient Israel and the prophetic literature it produced.

Assignment & Grading:

A term paper (40% of the course grade) addresses a topic pertaining to the course. Extension will only be granted in cases of emergency.

A quiz for each prophetic book before the class (30% of the grade)

A final exam (30% of the grade).
