學習聖經原文的最大益處，在於瞭解經文中各單字及字組間的組織法則。本課程即為幫助同學掌握聖經希伯來文的各種主要詞類類型，及片語，子句及子句之間的句法結構，並以此為基礎學習按照正意解經。

本課程以解經為基礎，探討舊約神學的研究方法，及舊約中一些重要的神學主題之發展，例如：創造，神的名，敬拜，約，律法，彌賽亞等，以掌握整本聖經的真理，進而明瞭舊約與新約及與今日信徒的關係。

Each student is to do a thorough exegesis of a passage of his/her own choice (50% of the course grade). The format of the exegesis paper will be explained in class.
